Once the guidescope is fitted, just add a guide camera and you are good to go. By twisting the front guidescope lens, the focus can be adjusted from 10mm to 20mm from the T2 thread. This allows the use of all common guide cameras with T2 connections to be used.
With an optional adapter from T2 to 1.25" you can also use this compact auto-guidescope with the 1.25" housing. The clamping is then maintained by the two knurled screws and a clamping ring.
