This 8mm extension tube is very helpful if your telescope focuser doesn't have enough back focus to allow your camera or eyepiece to reach focus.
Note: This extension adapter has a slightly thicker outer diameter (50.9mm). If you are using the plug-in fitting of a 2" receptacle, please make sure that your focuser tube has an inner diameter of 50.95mm or more - The majority of focusers are fine but some do have a slightly smaller inner diameter.
