This compact guide scope fits into all common finderscope bases to allow you to setup Autoguiding on your existing telescope system.
This compact guide scope is the perfect solution for guiding at medium level focal lengths and can also be used as a finderscope with additional adapters for use with an eyepiece..
Features:
- Focuser: A non rotating helical focuser for precise focusing. Once focus is reached, just tighten the locking screw. The star remains locked in this position without tilting or shifting.
- Adapter: 1.25" connection with brass compression ring and T2-thread
Base: Standard quick release finder interface (for Vixen, Celestron, Skywatcher, GSO and many others).
Use of autoguiders with 1.25" housing, like ASI120MINI or Lodestar:
We simply recommend a good 1.25" adapter that screws onto the T2 thread, then simply mount the camera onto the focus tube, without any focus problems.
Many cameras, like the ZWO MINI Guider, already come with a 1.25" extension, which works perfectly. The extension should be threaded in completely. However, you must not insert the camera completely.
