However when observing the sun, safety measures can not be overstated. Failure to comply with safety measures can result in serious injury or permanent damage to your eyes. as well as damage to your equipment.

- Ensure that all Solar Filters are securely attached to your telescope.
- Never use filters that are cracked, torn or otherwise damaged.
- Make sure the filter is fitted securely BEFORE you point the telescope at the Sun
- Only use certified filters specifically designed for solar viewing.
