Reducer 0.7x EdgeHD is a four-lens reducer that maintains the flat field of view of EdgeHD telescopes. When used for Astrophotography it reduces the exposure time by half while maintaining the same image brightness and enlarges the field of view by 43%: Ideal for wide-field photography, e.g. of large galaxies and nebulae.
Note: This Reducer is specifically designed to suit different Telescope sizes, so please ensure you select the correct Telescope when purchasing.
In the EdgeHD reducers,the lenses made of glass with lanthanum which enable clear, high-contrast images with minimal chromatic aberration. All glass-air surfaces are multi-coated for maximum light transmission and color fidelity
Each lens also has blackened edges to prevent internal reflections and increase image contrast. They are optimized for APS-C format sensors: Fits most DSLR cameras as well as many CCD cameras
Th Reducer has a CNC-machined aluminum housing for precise lens spacing and alignment. Metal screw caps for both ends of the reducer protects the optics from dust and scratches.
