While dew heater bands can protect the optics of your telescope from this problem, it can also happen on your camera sensor itself, especially when you begin to cool it to sub zero temperatures.\u003cbr\u003e \u003cbr\u003eThis anti-dew heater strip is used for anti-dew on the front window of the ASI cooled cameras (for ones which don't already have build in heaters). This kit includes the zip-tie, anti-dew heater strip, and a Y power cord.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe thickness of the anti-dew heater strip is 0.2~0.3 mm. The Y power cord is designed to connect in-line with the camera's cooler power supply for convenience. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eWe recommend a 12 V DC adapter with at least 0.35 A, as the heating power on the strip is approx. 4.2 watts.
