Hestia enables you to capture the Sun ( * with special SOLAR FILTER included!), the beauty of the Moon in detail, and the captivating depths of some bright deepspace objects — without the need for complex setups or extensive knowledge of Astronomy.
Warning: Never point any Telescope at the Sun without the Solar filter firmly in place first.
Hestia is everything but complex. Simply attach Hestia to its tripod and align your smartphone’s main camera with Hestia's ocular using the adjustable magnetic clamps. Then choose a celestial object from the APP (iOS & Android) and let yourself be guided by the on screen prompts on your smartphone and unlock a whole new world of exploration.
For bright objects like the Moon or the Sun, the simple point and shoot method on your phones camera will be all that's required and for deep space objects which are much more faint, the night time mode on your smartphones camera is ideal for taking longer exposures and the Hestia Telescope on the Tripod will help keep your phone steady while the photograph is taken. You can then save and view or share the photos with family and friends.
Tip: If your phone has a photo delay option, a 5 second delay will help cancel out any vibrations when the shutter button is pressed.
